To get the strongest password you should use a combination of upper and lower case letters, as well as numbers and special characters (!, £, $, etc) and make it as long as you can (6 characters minimum).

A security question is simply a question that you will be asked if you ever forget your password and need reminding.
Make sure you choose something only you would know the answer to!
If you think our suggested questions are too easy for others to guess, you can set your own security question instead.

If you choose to use a personal question then other users of the site can not add you as a friend unless they answer this question first.

We strongly recommend you leave your Hangout as Private. Anyone can see a Public Hangout. Private Hangouts are much safer and require another user to be your friend for them to see your stuff.
